The GINGA (Galaxy) line from Sakai Takayuki has a stunning mirror-finished 69-layer damascus finish cladding, with latest alloy core ZA-18, developed by Aichi Steel Co.
With 1.2% Carbon, 18% Chromium and additional 1.8% Cobalt, ZA-18 with typical HRC 61-63 can reach high sharpness, excellent edge retention and extra strong to bending and breaking.
